Moving On.
There is nothing more I wanted less than to be taking care of a new cat. Things would not be the same now. "Cats are mean, I've always had dogs, I am a dog person." is what I thought when we first got our Cat. I thought she would distract from being able to do the things we wanted, but I didn't know what those things even were. I had too small a view of my world. Humans are very capable and finding someone to watch her when we leave for the weekend has not been hard at all.

Our first mission was to name her. She was small and carmel colored, with a white tummy. I thought a good name would be Twix, my wife agreed it fit so that is what we called her. But not long after she would do this hunch-back walk as she tried to "get" us. I thought it was so cute and she was not intimidating at all. Her size was emphasized compared to how big the bed and the couch were. So I came up with her nickname - Bitty. Bitty was a perfect fit. We both smiled and laughed at the name at how good it was. So from here on out we would call this little of bundle of fun, attitude, and mystery (for me) Bitty!
